Dagbladet Børsen launches new stock market platform Investor

Børsen, Denmark’s leading financial and business newspaper, recently launched a new stock market universe powered by Pulse, branded as Børsen Investor.

As a part of Børsen’s strategy to focus financial sector news, the new platform aims to provide both a location for financial market news, and tools for analysis, exploration, and tracking for private investors.

Merging of journalistic content and streaming market data

Børsen Investor is not just a stock market platform, it also contains news and editorial content produced and curated by Børsen’s journalists. This merging of editorial content with market data and analytical tools is a core part of the Pulse solution and has been a central aspect of the Børsen Investor project since day one.

During market hours, content is created both natively inside Børsen Investor through the Live Center solution, automatically retrieved from Børsen’s CMS, and requested from multiple external sources. Content includes videos produced by Børsens video department Play, live market updates, thumbnails to full-length articles, shorter posts, tweets, etc.

Together these create a Børsen-unique blend of real-time market updates and curated journalistic content, allowing their brand and journalism to take control of the impression readers get.

Promotions

To promote the launch of the new platform, Børsen created a set of creative elements across their main domain, various newsletters, and social media presence.  These promotions helped introduce the new solution to readers without forcing them over from Børsen’s existing market pages, a key aspect in solution migration.
